Saucony continues to expand its Spring/Summer collection, adding another colorway to the trio of looks we previewed a couple of months back. Utilizing the popular ’90′s silhouette that’s still respected the world around, the GRID 9000, this selection centers around four different colorways, each done up in a nubuck, mesh, and synthetic build that features the ultra-soft cushioned sole that gives this model its name. The collection includes a White/Blue, Grey/Citron, Tan/Brown, and a Navy/Citron all with accent colors on the heel, outsole, and around the inner liner, making each look pop. The Grid 9000 also maintains its sturdy, runner-inspired innovations that first appeared during their release decades ago, including the motion-control heel stabilizer to help protect against the dreaded heel-strike or overpronation as well as a transparent heel window underfoot. Bait recently celebrated their grand opening, and to honor the event, they worked with Saucony on this Grid 9000 collaboration. Dubbed the “Viridian Burner,” the shoe features a suede upper with touches of black, red, and viridian green. Detailing includes the Bait logo on the tongue strap, and small doses of white leather at the forefoot. The Bait x Saucony Grid 9000 “Viridian Burner” will be available December 1 at hanon.

To commemorate the opening of their flagship store BAIT have taken the Saucony Grid 9000 on a style excursion and come back with the ‘Viridian Burner’. The Californian crew have dipped the plush suede silhouette in a high contrast black, white, red and viridian green cocktail and come out with a dynamite result. The BAIT x Saucony Grid 9000 Viridian Burner will be available form tomorrow Tuesday the 23rd of October from PYS.com, BAITme.com, and the BAIT retail store in Diamond Bar, CA before launching at select specialty accounts a few weeks later.
Thanks to a series of collaborations that include the likes of SneakerFreaker and Packer Shoes, the Saucony Grid 9000 has pushed it way back into the spotlight. Now the classic sneaker gets read for the Fall/Winter 2012 season with a set that includes three throwback colorways of the upper, which is a nice blend of suede, neoprene, and mesh. The colorway options include a rich forest green with yellow accents on the branding, heel, and tongue as well as a grey with touches of black and purple and a white with touches of blue, black, and green. Throw in a super comfortable G.R.I.D. midsole and Saucony branding on the tongue and we have a solid look on our hands. Following a preview of the co-branded “Tech Pack” from Saucony and Packer Shoes, we present a detailed look at the duo of Grid 9000 styles, now landing at retailers. The classically styled runners feature a ripstop nylon base with suede mudguards in neutral tones, along with pops of color throughout the upper. Details include mesh collars and plastic eyestays attached to nylon support straps, one imprinted with tonal Packer branding, the other with Saucony’s logo. New jersey sneaker retailer Packer Shoes and Saucony have teamed for a second time – this instance setting their design sights on the Grid 9000 as part of the “Trail” pack. Available in two dynamic colorways that match warm tones with subtle design cues drawn from the original 1994 model, the sneaker is a combination of premium suede and nylon ripstop materials.
