Azealia Banks Dazed & Confused Magazine Cover Banned In 7 Countries
While Azealia Banks is certainly known to be bold and outspoken via her Twitter and lyrical content, the latest move for the Dazed & Confused cover certainly solidifies the artist’s embrace of all things provocative. The cover pushes the boundaries so much so that it has already been banned from the newsstands in seven countries. On the cover of the publication’s September issue, Banks can be seen blowing up a pink condom with her mouth while the cover typeface is emblazoned with the verbiage, “AZEALIA BANKS BLOWS UP.” The sexually outspoken artist is interviewed by Karley Sciortino while a plethora of other Banks visuals and content are heavily stocked throughout the issue. A few days ago we witnessed the mad scenes that accompanied the Houston release of the Air Jordan 1 Banned. Now here’s a video of the action as it happened. What started out as a camp out quickly turns into a sprint for the finish line as the mall gates are flung open!
