Bodega x Saucony Elite G9 2013 Spring/Summer Collection
It was only a couple of months ago that Bodega and Saucony released a collaborative Elite G9 collection and now the Boston retailer and the American shoe company are back at it with another round of Elite G9 models. Back again is the G9 Shadow 5 and this time it’s joined by the G9 Control in two new colorways. The G6, like the last time around, come in a bold colorway that mixes plenty of clashing colors along with leopard print for a look all its own. The first G9 Control colorway is predominantly grey with hits of navy, purple and tan. The second G9 Colorway, a Bodega-exclusive, features a predominantly purple make-up with black, navy, orange, and camo elements along with a speckled and beige midsole. Dubbed the “Captain Purp” colorway, just 85 pairs will be released. Look for all three colorways in-store and online on May 4.
Bodega 2013 Spring Deliveries Lookbook
Boston’s own Bodega presents a lookbook containing select freshness from its crop of Spring 2013 goods. With pieces from choice labels such as Engineered Garments, White Mountaineering, nanamica and Mark McNairy, the lookbook does well to mix clean, contemporary looks with street-ready styles. Accordingly, sharp printed shirts are paired with high collar sweaters, while slim jeans and chinos are matched with formal-leaning footwear. Saucony will see the release of three new sneakers as apart of their on-going collaboration with Boston based Bodega. The Elite G9 Shadow 6, Elite G9 Control, and the Elite G9 Control “Captain Purp” will be apart of this Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Each shoe features a variety of materials and patterns on the upper. The “Captain Purp” will be limited to 85 pairs. Head to Bodega this May 4th to pick up these sneakers.

Bodega x New Balance 577
As off lately the sneaker world has been seeing a lot of collaborations of New Balance and various brands. And their latest will be with Boston’s Bodega releasing the 577 model. The shoe takes on a simple look with the grey upper yet purple and pink make bold accents as well as the translucent, electric blue outsole. The Boston Bodega x Saucony alliance grows stauncher with another round of their Elite series hitting the streets this Saturday May the 4th. As part of the pack Bodega have created this plush ‘Captain Purp’ G9 Control puppy which features a symphony of purp suede mixed with some cool speckled midsoles, black mesh and a couple of other hues thrown in for good measure. The Captain Purp edition is limited to just 85 pairs and will be available exclusively from Bodega both in-store and online this Saturday from noon, purp safe peeps.

Bodega and Saucony continues their joint run with this latest triple-drop that will be hitting shelves this Saturday, May 4. First up is a wild leopard-print accented pair of G9′s, mixed with hits of grey, tan, black and purple underlays. The second part of the pack includes an exclusive to Bodega, a Saucony Elite G9 Control that’s been dubbed “Captain Purp,” for obvious reasons, constructed with suede and a touch of mesh around the toe box planted upon a chucky speckled midsole. Rounding out the trio is a relatively less in-your-face option, primarily rocking a grey build, mixed with touches of purple and blue. The entire Bodega x Saucony Elite Spring/Summer 2013 will launch online (at Noon Eastern) and in-stores this Saturday, May 4, with the Captain Purple coming in vastly limited numbers: 85 to be exact. [NEWSFLASH] BODEGA AND ADIDAS GET BEHIND BOSTON
Boston’s Bodega have severely felt the ripple of last week’s terrible bombing attack and have pledged to help those affected by the tragedy. Adidas have agreed to donate all proceeds from the sale of the Boston Super OG colourways to The One Fund Boston. Both pairs are available through Bodega now in-store and online. Additionally, for each item of Bodega clothing and every pair of shoes sold, Bodega will donate to the same fund. The fund raising efforts will run through the entire month of May.
