[NEWSFLASH] TEA FOR TWO: CARMELO ANTHONY AND DAVE WHITE
British Pop Art maestro Dave White has jumped at the chance to collaborate with Jordan Brand again, this time having his way with the Melo M9 silhouette. White concocted several dope designs and put them to Carmelo Anthony himself when they met for tea and scones in London recently. Anthony liked them all but settled on a star-spangled white, black and gold number inspired by his recent Olympic Games achievements with the US national team. Check the video of the regal meeting below and stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more info on the colab as it comes to hand.

Carmelo Anthony and Dave White “Tea for Two”

Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks recently visited London for a game against the Detroit Pistons. During the visit, Melo took the chance to meet with prolific British streetwear and sneaker designer Dave White. Here, they discuss ideas on the Jordan Melo M9, a limited edition sneaker celebrating Melo’s record 37-points against Nigeria for Team USA, which will only be sold in London when complete. Set in the quintessential British surroundings of the Savoy Hotel, we see a the two distinguished, but rather dissimilar figures share commonalities over a cup of English tea. After bouncing ideas back and forth, Melo sets his mind on a simple white leather profile, garnished with 24-karat gold stars and embellished with both the Melo and Jordan branding. Keep your eyes peeled for more news on the collaborative piece and enjoy the video above.
