[NEW RELEASE] SOLEBOX x REEBOK CLASSIC LEATHER (30TH ANNIVERSARY)
Reebok are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Reebok Classic Leather with a stack of big name colabs and the always reliable design minds at Solebox have not let us down with their contribution. After a decade at the forefront of the European sneaker biz, owner Hikmet Sugoer has created some of the most highly coveted Reebok colaborations of all time, especially his Pumps which featured light-em-up ‘disco’ panels and glowing balls. This time around however, Hikmet has decided to keep it simple, utilising sleek black leather which is accentuated by a blindingly bright suede toebox that is somehow neither orange, nor truly red. A Classic Stop-Motion Video That Pays Homage to Electronics of Yesteryear
Polish videographer Bartek Hlawka takes us through an exploration of time and space, to a period when 8-bit was the maximum resolution available. Hlawka’s celebration of technology past is delivered for Pixel Heaven 2013, a unique retrospective game conference held in Warsaw. Attendees will exchange stories, compete for high scores, and be treated to a live concert featuring some low-bit beats. From Mario to PacMan, floppy disks to pinball machines, this video utilizes a combination of throwback machines and stop-motion graphics to create a thoroughly pleasant nostalgic video.
Celebrity Sneaker Watch: Val Kilmer Breaks Outs Nike SB x Supreme Tennis Classic
If you were lucky enough to get your hands on the recently released Nike SB x Supreme Tennis Classic then you’d be smiling just like Val Kilmer does here as he shows off his pair in a recent photo.

mita Sneakers x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary Video
Continuing on their celebration of the Reebok Classic Leather’s 30th Anniversary, the brand has collaborated with Tokyo retailer mita Sneakers. As previously shown, this sneaker is a colorful combination of materials and tones, meshing pig suede, sky blue chambray, terry, and glow-in-the-dark on one nicely executed silhouette. Behind this is Shigeyuki Kunii, creative director at mita Sneakers, who is responsible for the innovative design process with which mita approaches its collaborations. Hypebeast was able to sit down with Kunii to discuss his creative logic behind the shoe, which was made to be fluid between different times of the day, and between environments.
