To commemorate this year’s running of the Boston Marathon, New Balance has teamed up with Boston-based shop Concepts to create this fantastic ‘Northern Lights’ editions of their classic US574 silhouette. Featuring blue, green, and burgundy editions of the American-made 574 sneaker, the pack seems fairly standard at first look, but when plunged into darkness features glow-in-the-dark branding and details. The collaborative “Northern Lights” pack will be available exclusively from Concepts shop on Saturday, April 13.

Any slow coaches will appreciate the glow in the dark laces, soles and panelling on these puppies if their race time starts to enter Iron Man territory. Concepts x New Balance 574 ‘Northern Lights’ Pack

This month will see a collaborative effort from New Balance and Concepts in order to celebrate the this years Boston Marathon. The “Northern Lights” Pack consists of three colorways of the Made in the USA 574s. The special part about this shoe is that it is the first time that New Balance has used glow in the dark technology on a USA manufactured shoe. The glow feature can be seen on the panels, laces, and soles.
These are set to release exclusively at Concepts on Saturday, April 13 in limited quantities.

Cambridge colab kings Concepts are back in the game with another super freaky sneaker – this time around they’ve had their way with a pretty plush Vans SK8-Hi. Last time, Concepts were inspired by night club imagery and now they’ve taken it a step further (and a step back in time). Boston once had a raging red light district where all kind of debauchery went down, it was nicknamed the ‘Combat Zone’, and that’s the title of these new black and pink and patterned skate slippers. They’re due to bare all on March 30 at Concepts.
Vans Syndicate x Concepts “Combat Zone” Preview
Here is a short glimpse at a new project between Vans Syndicate and Concepts. Entitled “Combat Zone” in reference to writer John Cole whose coveted work during the 1960s remain influential. The theme further highlights the dedication Cambridge located Concepts boutique has towards the neighbourhood, while we can expect Vans premium Syndicate line to serve up some genuine quality.

Jeep Reveals Annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari Concepts

Ahead of this year’s Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, Jeep has unveiled its roundup of concept vehicles to be displayed at the annual event. First up is the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Concept, powered by an EcoDiesel V6 engine and sitting on a set of 35-inch Mickey Thompson tired wrapped around 17-inch Rubicon wheels. The Wrangler Mopar Recon has a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox good for 470 horsepower. It also has Dana 60 front and rear axles, 4.5-inch long arm lift kit and 39-inch tires on beadlock wheels. The Wrangler Stitch is built with a carbon fiber hood, chrome moly roll cage and aluminum floor pan, all used to bring the weight below 3,000 pounds. It features DynaTrac Pro Rock 44 axles, a windshield shortened by two inches, vinyl soft top and a translucent architectural fabric wrap for a unique look. The Wrangler Sand Trooper II boasts a 5.7-liter Hemi good for 375 horsepower, distributed through Portal axles to 40-inch tires mounted on beadlock wheels. The Wrangler Flattop presents an upscale appearance, thanks in part to a one-piece windowless hardtop that chops two inches off the windshield. The body, finished in metallic sandstone, sits on 37-inch Mickey Thompson tires with a DynaTrac front axle and Dana Rear axle. Finally, the Wrangler Slim is the most accessible model from the bunch, packing a 3.6-liter V6, axles with a 3.73 ratio, 17-inch prototype wheels and a 10th-Anniversary Rubicon front bumper.
