From 1985 hardwood sneaker to casual pair of kicks, the adidas Decade has continued to be a sneaker staple. The newest release is the adidas Decade OG Mid “Cardinal”. In a mid-cut silhouette, the sneaker features a mutli-tonal cardinal upper with suede and mesh paneling along paired with white branding. Another defining feature of the shoe is the gum-colored bottom. This pair is available now at retailers including shop adidas.
Artist, designer and illustrator Stephen Cheetham took on a personal projectover the last few weeks, expressing his love for Nike sneakers with a new series of prints. The series sees Cheetham document his favourite Nike sneakers for each decade since the ’70s. Limiting his choices to eight per decade, it must have been quite a task selecting which sneakers to include. The prints should be available to purchase soon, but in the meantime, check out an interview with the artist over at Art & Sole.

Returning in its original black colorway, the kicks see a black suede and grey nylon upper alongside white leather branding accents, a white rubber midsole and light gum rubber outsole.
