The Italian classic Lancia Stratos is not only considered one of the most iconic cars in WRC history, but as the first car ever to be designed purely for rally race performance. Claiming three consecutive champion titles in 1974, 1975 and 1976, the Stratos is still considered one of the most challenging, epic, and intriguing driving experiences today. Petrolicious chatted with Phillip Toledano about his experiences driving the iconic race model and discuses its “disastrous noises”, “intrusive” nature, and the intriguing “terror” felt while behind the wheel.
One pair of Air Jordan’s we are excited about releasing is the Jordan 4 Toro Red and today we bring you our epic look.
What is hard to ignore is the full red nubuck uppers. Seen on the Air Jordan 5, this is where the Toro Red nickname came from. The Jordan 4 holds the same colorway except for white on the sole and midsole area.
When images first popped up online, many thought the Toro Red Air Jordan 4 would have suede uppers, but will actually release with nubuck. This was due to Carmelo Anthony wearing an unreleased version of the shoe.
Releasing July 13th 2013 and will retail for 0. You can buy them now at Sole-Up.com.
As June approaches us, Jordan Brand has shown many pairs that will release. One pair is the White/Black-Red Air Jordan 11 Low.
When images first hit the net, many dubbed this Jordan XI Low “Reverse Concords”. But we should note that Jordan Brand has not placed in concord (purple) on the shoe, but replaced it with true red.
Just like your traditional Air Jordan 11, the White, Black and True Red features patent leather in white, black mesh uppers and hints of red on the tongue, heel, insole and sole. Like every release with a clear sole, the kicks will feature a blue tint.
Releasing June 8th 2013 with a retail price of 0. You can buy a pair now at KickSole.com.

Nike is helping solve the dilemma for sneakerheads who want old looking joints but still want them to feel good and not fall apart with their Vintage series. This Nike Air Epic Vintage takes the glorious old world cocktail of suede, mesh, leather and nylon in navy, grey and orange and runs it through a rapid aging process. This sneaker looks like its on its last legs but in reality it’s just been born, maybe it will actually get younger looking, who knows, let’s call it the Benjamin Button banger. Cop it now from Berlin’s Overkill before it turns into a baby and disappears forever.
A classic will return this weekend, and for those that don’t know it’s the 2013 Air Jordan 8 Bugs Bunny aka Hare.
If you’re wondering why this model is nicknamed Bugs Bunny or hare, we will fill you in:
1. In 1993 when the Air Jordan 8 released, Michael Jordan did a commercial for the shoe with Bugs and Marvin the Martian.
2. The white and grey colors on the Air Jordan 8 resemble the tones of Bugs.
3. The two straps that cross each other are nicknamed “bunny ears”.
The 2013 Air Jordan 8 Hare features a White/True Red-Black colorway. The uppers are predominate white, shades of grey also hit the midsole and uppers, red runs on the sole, midsole and straps. Last but not least we have black on the tongue, within the midsole plus sole and liner.
This shoe is legendary as Michael Jordan won his 3rd ring wearing the Jordan 8 and retiring from basketball for the first time.
Releasing this Saturday, April 20th 2013 with a retail price of 0. You can skip the lines and buy now at KickSole.com.
