Nike is toasting to a decade of barefoot feelings this year, as the famous Free sole celebrates its tenth birthday. That means we’re gonna see the tech morphing into a stack of new models, we saw the Superior OG pop-up the other day and now we’re blessed with a fresh treatment of the original Free Run silhouette. The OG Breeze is one for the ladies, with a smooth mesh treatment covering the upper with flourishes of colour across the eyelets, heel tab and rim of the midsole. The three debut colourways are loud as heck too, peep them in the gallery above, via Lacebag, and look for them hitting stores real soon.
Last week we introduced the Nike WMNS Free OG Breeze scheduled to drop next month. We now have photos of the men’s version of the runner. In celebration of their 10th anniversary of the barefoot FREE technology, Nike is including the Nike Free OG Breeze as part of their Summer collection. The FREE collection which includes the Free OG Breeze, was made to mimic the movement of running with bare-feet while providing support and foot protection.
Scheduled to release sometime next month, two colorways will be available (Photo Blue/Anthracite-Vivid Blue-Polarized Blue and Base Grey/Cool Grey-White-Team Orange) at select Nike retailers such as Titolo.

Nike is celebrating 10 years of Free technology this year with the release of new models including this Free OG Breeze. Though currently available in women’s sizes only, we’re hoping some more masculine colorways will be on the way shortly.
A dark horse in a gaming race dominated by home consoles, Valve Corporation is one of the largest video game developers in the world. Seeking to validate the burgeoning world of professional gaming, Valve has produced a documentary following the lives of three gamers in their quest to win an international tournament. A million-dollar purse complicates the film – titled “Free to Play” – as the gamers not only battle each other, but the societal stigmas against gaming in pop culture. Enjoy the trailer above, whlie interested parties in the Bay Area can attend the documentary premiere next month.
To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of its FREE technology developed by Tobie Hatfield, Nike is reissuing the original Free 5.0 also known as the Free Superior. A running shoe meant to mimic the feel of running barefooted, the Free Superior will be covered in a combination of suede and mesh.
The kicks will release in a choice of Neutral Grey/Black/Chrome Yellow or Sport Royal/Varsity Maize/White Black sometime around the Summer season. Additional colorways will also be available once it is released. Keep it locked to Sneakerfiles for more updates.
In recent weeks, we’ve seen a lot of trainers coming from Nike, and limited editions of their sneaker lines, like NOLA Gumbo Pack. Now an older model, the Nike Free Woven 5.0 “Armory Navy” is a sneaker with a woven upper in a deep navy, with pink/white polka dot contrasting against it. Leather is layered on top of the woven mesh on the heels and midfoot. For comfort and stability, a Free 4.0 midsole is riding on the bottom to complete this shoe. Check for these at Nike retailers now! (Source Nice Kicks)
The Nike Free Run+ 2 has remained a constant part of Nike’s Free rotation since its launch and now the shoe returns for spring in a new light crimson/grey colorway. This drop features the shoes upper in bright red with a contrasting black heel and yellow accents. The Free 5.0 sole mirrors the colorblocking of the upper with a mix of black and white. This latest colorway is available now at select stockists including Sneaker Politics for 0 USD.
We all love sneakers, and we all love boots, right? So doesn’t it make sense to finally combine the two?
It does to Nike, so they’ve mushed them together (mushed is probably the wrong word, but you get what we mean) to birth the Nike Free Run 2 SneakerBoots. These things takes the sleek look of a sneaker and combines it with the function of a boot, to create a piece of footwear that’s perfect for all your needs.
