Nike Air Huarache – White/Cyber-Anthracite-Blue

Along with the scores of Air Max re-releases, Nike Sportswear is also bringing back one of its other perennial favorite, the Nike Air Huarache. While not necessary an OG because of its vibrant colorway, this new iteration is exactly the same in every aspect to the original version introduced back in 1991. As part of Nike Sportswear April 2013 release, the White/Cyber-Anthracite-Blue edition is available now at Tokyo’s mita sneakers and at select Nike retailers elsewhere soon.

Nike Air Huarache – April 2013 Release

After undergoing a few tweaks and mods to accommodate Nike‘s recent technology upgrades, the Nike Air Huarache is set to return this April with its original midsole, structure, and style. First released back in 1991 from the hands and mind of the legendary designer Tinker Hatfield following inspiration from Native American sandals, these kicks make use of neoprene and spandex – common 90′s textures – alongside smooth leather paneling and thermoplastic hardware for a flexible, but secure ride. Arriving in a classic Sport Grey with Total Crimson Accents and a White with Cyber Anthracite colorways, Nike’s Air Huarache’s for April 2013 will be available from Tokyo’s atmos beginning April 20. Although pre-orders are available now.

Nike 2013 Spring/Summer Air Huarache

Nike brings its iconic, yet very rare Air Huarache athletic sneaker to the 2013 spring season with two new color combos. Following a long overdue relaunch back in February with its OG colorways from the early ‘90s, the Tinker Hatfield designed trainer will surely rise in popularity once again as its material make up and overall design is still very much modern, although it is now over 20 years old. Still featuring its signature neoprene and leather upper with a thermoplastic heel counter, consumers will have their choice of a grey and crimson model as well as a white, grey and volt rendition. Both pairs will hit select stockists in the coming months, however ecommerce site Rakuten currently has them for sale with a price tag of ¥10,500 JPY (approximately 6 USD).
Nike Air Huarache ‘Squadron Blue/Steel Grey-Vivid Sulfur’

As the United States waits patiently for the return of the Nike Air Huarache, Europe gears up for a new colorway after having already received two OG versions back in February.
Donning a smooth suede and neoprene mesh upper, these OG-inspired trainers feature squadron blue, steel grey, and vivid sulfur accents throughout for a complete finish. Additional details come in the form of a white midsole and a reinforced heel counter in black.
With pairs beginning to hit the shelves in the UK already, keep it locked here at Sneaker Files for any word on a stateside release of the Nike Air Huarache “Squadron Blue/Steel Grey-Vivid Sulfur”.

[NEW RELEASE] NIKE AIR HUARACHE (SULFUR/SQUADRON BLUE)

Adding insult to injury, the Swoosh crank out another killer colourway. Squadron blue, vivid sulfur and strata grey mix thrice nice with a brooding black TPU heel strap, outsole and tongue branding stamping some serious authority on what is pretty much a flawless runner. These joints are a European Foot Locker exclusive so kick here for enlightenment.
[NEW RELEASE] NIKE AIR HUARACHE (GREY/RED)
European Huarache-heads have been treated to a smorgasbord of delectable drops in the last month and the sock-sneak soirée continues with the release of this grey/red edition. Mixing medium grey, neutral grey and university red over the neoprene, mesh and leather classic makes for a cool calm and collected colourway that has us all saying, ‘Yeah!’. We’re hanging for some of these to fly from their EU-only constraints, but until they do head to Foot Locker Europe to slide in and be ghost.
