Respect to the Nike Hyperdunk 2013 for actually releasing in 2013, unlike every other product and video game that jumps the gun by too many months. Yep, B Ballers have had to wait a good while for this behemoth to land on shelves but the launch is finally in sight, and our first impressions suggest it was worth the wait. Three of Nike’s big tech innovations of Dynamic Flywire support, Hyperfuse construction and Lunarlon cushioning are all sandwiched into this high performance court shoe, and they’re light as a feather too, making that flight to the hoop even easier. The heel is probably the biggest revelation here with a seemingly spring loaded stack of Lunarlon wedged into the back providing not only futuristic looks but also the perfect platform for aerial propulsion. Check out the pics of the first colourway drop below, via Nike, Inc. and pick ‘em up from Nike retailers on July 20.
Designed by Peter Fogg, the Nike Hyperdunk 2013 has been officially unveiled by Nike. This new Hyperdunk will debut globally on July 20. Are you looking forward to the launch of the latest Nike Hyperdunk? Let us know in the comments.
In 2008 (before the release of the Nike Air Mag), Nike took sneakerheads on a journey back to the future with the Nike Hyperdunk 2015 “Marty McFly” by taking their newly released Hyperdunk and giving it a colorway inspired by the Nike Air Mag from the movie Back To The Future Pt. 2. New sneaker-inspired sunglasses company LOOK/SEE has teamed up with Finish Line to give one lucky contestant a chance to win a pair of these instant classics, along with a pair of sunglasses in a “Stealth/Cyan/Vivid Pink” colorway that matches the shoes perfectly.
The contest runs until 10pm EST on Friday, May 24th, so be sure to sign up before then. You can view the rules to the contest here.

Contrary to the current style still available to date, this Hyperdunk takes on a redesigned upper and midsole that exaggerates the shoe’s Lunar support and Dynamic Flywire detailing.

Following its “Bringback Pack” earlier this year, So-Cal brand UNDEFEATED will be visiting the past again with the new UNDFTD x Nike Hyperdunk 2012 “Ballistic”. Named not just for the tactical nylon panels intermeshed on the upper’s lateral portion but for the Nike Hyperdunk‘s olive drab colorway as well, the khaki midsole and stencil-like UNDFTD Strikes logo further enhance the militaristic look.
