There’s no better way to escape the Florida heat than an ice cold Arnold Palmer. With a tangy upper resembling the famous ice tea and lemon drink (check out the amusing new 30for30 short film starring Will Arnette about how the beverage came to be), these LeBronald Palmer samples never quite saw the light of day. A homage from the King of the hardwood to the King of the green, thanks to Sneaker News for the pics.

The resurgent New York Knicks have proven particularly popular with shoppers too, becoming the top-selling team for the first time since 2004. Reigning champions Miami Heat trailed closely behind while newbies Brooklyn Nets managed to crack the top ten for most team merchandise sold. Check jersey pics and full lists below.

If Nike were to produce a “Galaxy” themed Nike LeBron X, it would probably look like this. Right?
Well, that’s wishful thinking as we take a look at the Nike LeBron X “Galaxy” custom by Mache of Mache Custom Kicks. Inspired by LeBron’s All-Star Nike LeBron 9‘s from earlier this year, these kicks carry a total orange and yellow colorway with a galaxy-esque inner lining and midpanel design, plus more.
Would you purchase these customs if they were to see an official release? See detailed images below and let us know what you think in the comments below. Stay tuned to Sneaker Files for more custom sneaker news.
Mache of Mache Custom Kicks doesn’t seem to be playing fair with this new Nike LeBron X custom.
Rightfully nicknamed “mita”, this custom creation pays homage to mita’s iconic Nike Trainer Dunk High. You may recognize familiar cement print panels, a speckled midsole, plus more.

Part of a trio set to launch later on tonight by customizer Mache, the Nike LeBron X “Big Bang” Customs transferred many design elements from the LeBron 9 “All-Star” variation and appointed them onto the new LeBron X silhouette. In an all-orange color scheme, Mache filled in portions of the midsole with his own interpretation of Nike‘s “Galaxy” graphic with glow-in-the-dark stars. Mache also adorned similar graphics on the shoe’s interior lining. As a way to bring out the design’s originality, Mache enlisted the help of Miami-base artist Herby Santana to create a special tongue tag for the project.
Mache mentioned that both Joe Budden and Wale placed their orders already, but added that there are still a few more pairs left, put aside for release on his MacheCustoms.com online store later tonight.

Based off the Trainer/Dunk hybrid collab, these are scheduled to release tonight at 8 PM at Mache Customs.
