There is serious buzz right now that Space Jam, the critically shamed but classic 90s live action/animation film beloved by squillions of children and Jordanheads, may get a sequel starring LeBron James. It would be a most high compliment to LBJ to fill the ball boots of Michael Jordan, but will it actually happen, and how would Mike feel? Obviously LeBron would never be able to top Jordan’s exemplary acting (see below), but it would be very interesting to see if a sequel could garner anywhere near the same fanfare. We can’t trace how the rumour started, but while James says he doesn’t know anything about it, he was happy to offer his services.
‘It’s news to me,’ he told the Sun Sentinel about the unlikely project. ‘I haven’t heard anything about it. Like I said, I’ve always loved Space Jam 1. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. If I have the opportunity, it’d be great. I haven’t heard about it. Maybe they’ve got it in my office. I haven’t been to my office in a while.’ Space Jam 1? It’s not called Space Jam 1 unless there’s a Space Jam 2, right? It’s just Space Jam. Hmmm, curiouser and curiouser.
James also showed he was willing to commit to the role with hefty research on how to defeat the Monstars.
‘Those guys are very intimidating and they’re bigger than us,’ he said. ‘We’ve got to do our due diligence here on Earth.’

This morning we gave you a detailed look at the Nike LeBron XI Elite “Infrareds”. Next up is another colorway that is part of the unreleased three sample colorways of the Nike LeBron XI Elite – Red and Silver. While there is no dramatic changes made between the postseason edition of the LeBron 11 and the regular season version of the sneaker, there are some noticeable changes made to the silhouette of the upper. The upper is covered in different shades of Grey with accents of Red on the Swoosh, inside lining of the shoe and soles. The outsoles are dressed with a camo print.
There is not word on when these will officially drop, but keep it locked to Sneakerfiles for that information. A pair of the Nike LeBron XI Elite “Red and Silver” have popped up on eBay for ,507.70.
With some pretty impressive colorways under its belt, the Nike LeBron XI (11) makes a debut in a new “Stealth” theme.
Contrary to other multicolored styles, this iteration adopts monochromatic color scheme which displays black accents and shades of grey. Opting for a marbled effect to its Swoosh branding and outsole, first images do however suggest that the inner branding will be accompanied by a purple tint.
