By now we have come to expect the unexpected from Maison Martin Margiela. Here, they present a minimalistic leather and suede derby shoe upper, keeping the artistic twist to the bottom of the shoe. The sole is a combination of mid and hard rubber layers, creating a distinct marbled look. The shoe itself is a playful take on the standard men’s dress shoe: spice up any formal look or just rock them casually. But there is nothing casual about the quality Italian construction and materials — the Marble Sole Derby is just as well-made as it is outgoing. Find them here.

Maison Kitsune once again partner with eyewear-giant Oliver Peoples. The Tokyo and Paris frames are revisited: The Tokyo sports a vintage clip-on sunglass look, with gold plaques and flip of lenses, while the Paris is more elegant with round oversized lenses. Both frames are made from thick acetate and are available in a number of colorways. The collection is set to debut this month at Kitsune shops in New York, Paris, and Tokyo as well as Oliver Peoples’ boutiques and online.
