![]()
There is no need to adjust your computer monitor, the image see here is actually “pixelated” to begin with. Not one with a conventional approach to design, Jeremy Scott will add on some “8-bit fun” this coming season with his new adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0 “Pixels”. Identical to the former JS Wings 2.0 with the exception of pixelated wings and adidas‘ three-strip, we can only imagine what the apparel collection will look like once the collection as a whole comes out later on this year.

UNITED ARROWS x adidas Originals ZX 500 OG UA

Tapping the classic ZX 500 for yet another retro release, adidas Originals has teamed up with UNITED ARROWS once again to craft a collaborative piece of footwear for Summer 2013. Following in the footsteps of last year’s espadrille-inspired Rod Laver, this season’s drop sees the ZX 500 with OG construction of mesh and suede alongside a cross-country color palette of white, grey, and forest green. Standing out from the otherwise subtle appearance are fluorescent green accents on the rubber outsole, midsole branding, and extra set of laces. The latest edition of the iconic ’80s runner is due out on May 2 for ¥12,600 JPY (approximately 7 USD).
adidas Originals ZX 500 for United Arrows

adidas Originals knows how to rework their classic ZX500 runner, as evidenced by this two part pack we featured some time ago, but a little helping hand from United Arrows will never be turned down. While other brands – and even adidas – continue to throw money at new footwear technology, fabrics, and design, these ZX 500′s get revitalized by simply making them look truly vintage. Rocking a white, grey, and green colorway and fitted with a gum outsole that looks like its been faithfully preserved, with just a hint of yellowing for that hard to hit OG feel. Vibrant greenish-yellow tread help to set-off the otherwise reserved suede, mesh, and leather sneaker, but you really shouldn’t have trouble getting noticed in these. You can look for them exclusively at United Arrows beginning May 2nd.
