The Shadow 500 never seizes to disappoint, especially since it has been a top choice for collaborators that work within Saucony. Remembering how much of a stir was caused when Saucony released the anticipated Bodega pack to the public, the “Cotton Candy Pack” will most likely create the same amount of hype as the other Shadow 5000 releases. This pack is actually a collaboration between Play Cloths, a praised street-wear label, and the renowned Saucony Shadow 5000. The two, releasing a trio of colors of elegant design.
The bubblegum pink, lemon twist yellow, and blueberry fluff color-ways sport star perforations around the toe. You read correctly, star perforations. Besides the eye-catching stars, the shoes are wrapped around in suede while sitting on top of a white/gum outsole. To finish up, Play Cloths emblem is marked up on the tip of the tongue to show collaboration between Saucony. These are scheduled to release in the coming weeks so stay tuned for the exact release date.
Diemme puts a premium spin on the current camo craze by dipping three silhouettes in the popular motif. The Diemme Bonito chukka, Garda slip-on and Marostica Low all receive camo upgrades, with the Garda sharing space with white leather. The Bonita sits atop a Vibram Christy sole, but both the Garda and Marostica are finished with white rubber soles. The Diemme “Camouflage” pack is available now at select retailers.
Continuing the revival of a cult classic, Reebok drops off a fresh batch of the Question Mid for all the Iverson heads. Dubbed the ‘Canvas Pack’, we see three colourways – blue, black and red – all resting aboard a white midsole. Extending the blocked out upper, each base colour has been carried inside the hexagonal bubble system. Keep your eyes glued to Packer Shoes as these drop on June 7th.
Nike and Undefeated keep the colab Bring Back presents coming with the return of a highly sought after Dunk. February saw the release of crispy white gum Dunk Hi and Hyperdunks, but that will probably be remembered merely as the precursor for this downright dangerous double pack. The infamous olive UNDFTD Dunk Hi was restricted to 48 pairs 10 years ago and given to Undefeated workers to celebrate the opening of a second shop front, but a decade on the wider world will finally get to taste the freshness. The Dunk Hi’s brother-in-arms is a new Nike Hyperdunk, which goes for the same olive and brown treatment with a show-stealing cameo from Meshley Snipes and a memorable appearance from conceited court star, Mr Toebox Swoosh. The second installment of the Nike x Undefeated ‘Bring Back Pack’ will be available globally from May 25.
Just in time for spring, the Vans Authentic release in brushed twill in four colorways that are perfect for the warmer season. Shale Green, Salmon, Porcelain, and Mineral Yellow take on the brushed twill upper of the Authentic model. Brown leather boat-shoe laces accompany the shoe as well as a light blue waffle outsole. Undefeated’s relationship with Nike dates back more than a decade, a partnership that was celebrated earlier this year with the “Bring Back” Pack. Set to release this Saturday, Undefeated x Nike’s “Bring Back 2003″ Pack resurrects yet another iconic Nike Dunk from the archives. In a military-inspired combo of olive drab, black and white, the Dunk High “Ballistic” makes an encore appearance nearly 10 years after its initial release, this time paired with the Hyperdunk 2012 in the same colorway. The former features premium textured leather and ballistic nylon uppers while its high-tech sibling boasts Hyperfuse uppers, Flywire and a cushioned Lunarlon sole. Both silhouettes are finished off with the iconic 5-strikes logo and will be available on May 25 at Undefeated retail locations and online.
Puma seems to have a strong selection in lifestyle footwear this year and to make it even stronger will be the release of the brands “Animal Pack” for Fall 2013. The pack includes four shoes, two pairs of the Puma Suede and two of the Puma Stepper. Each shoe features leopard print, black suede, and a white sole.
