Kicks Lab x PUMA First Round Lo KL Camo
This isn’t PUMA‘s first run-in with Camo, but nothing they’ve done in the past has looked anything quite like this. Playing with color, contrast, and camo, Puma gets a hand from Kicks Lab to dress their First Round Lo in a premium black suede fitted with a Cordura canvas woodland camo symbol, all atop a yellowed rubber midsole. The look really begins to draw attention and buck tradition with a gold inner sock liner with matching branding on the tongue, heel, and quarter panel. Built in Japan and limited to only 300 pairs, you can lock down a set for yourself from select retailers, including the source, the Kicks Lab Store in Tokyo, beginning this May.

KICKS LAB x PUMA First Round Lo “Camo”
Toying with designs both conservative and cocky, PUMA’s latest dispatch comes as a collaborative piece with Japanese sneaker purveyors KICKS LAB. The First Round Lo “Camo” features a black suede upper highlighted by a CORDURA camo Puma stripe at its vamp. Punctuated by a gold inner lining and branding at its tongue, heel and mid-section, the deluxe upper sits atop a vibrant yellow rubber sole for added style. Blending retro make-up with eye-catching motifs, KICKS LAB and PUMA have crafted just 300 pairs of these Japanese made sneakers and will release them in May via selected stockists including KICKS LAB.

A CORDURA camo Form Stripe seems conservative in this context, with blinding gold leather lining hooking up with raging red laces to create a serious neck snapping pair of big cats. KICKS LAB and Puma have knocked together 300 pairs of these Japanese-made purring pretties and will let them loose in May at selected retailers.

The exclusive Takumi imprint of PUMA‘s artisanal Made in Japan collection yields a First Round high top finished with design notes suitable for the Year of the Snake. Available in simple black or white colorways, the retro basketball silhouette carries clean lines and a premium leather upper, accented with a distinct python finish at the toe box, tongue, heel panel and signature form stripe. Red Wing Heritage send over some impressive styles for Spring Summer 2013. First up, from the Handsewn collection, two models, The Oxford and Chukka, are featured. Made in Maine, these are inspired by the popular 668 hunting boot, the 9155 Oxford carrying the always comfortable crepe sole, ‘cushioned plantation crepe sole’ to be exact, with the 9166 Chukka fitted with a clean white Vibram sole. For the smarter cats, The Round Toe Oxford presents a work friendly option, available in 6 colours and based on Red Wing work shoes from the 1930s.
