ALOYE 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Converging an overriding cleanliness in design with comprehensible patterns, the ALOYE Spring/Summer 2013 collection offers basic wear that stylistically stands out yet is not overbearing. The range of T-Shirts are infused with the brand’s affiliation towards pop references and an experimental approach towards pattern-blocking against the apparel’s plain white canvas. Shown through their aptly styled look book, the ALOYE Spring/Summer 13 collection is a well-executed example of an amalgamation of color, pattern and design, done in immaculate taste. Pieces from the collection is available now via our online store.

Griffin Hartland 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Griffin Hartland takes to the roaming, mossy hills of a remote isle to frame their goods for Spring/Summer 2013. The line, which notoriously blends British sensibilities with sport, military, and outdoor utility influences, has produced a rather cinematic video lookbook consistent with its ideals. Checkered patterning is heavily favored across polo shirts, jackets, and sweatshirts, as are stripes and pixilated paisley. The lookbook does well to contextualize Griffin Hartland’s aesthetic, inspired by woodsy environments yet perfectly suited for the streets. Enjoy the video featured above, which was produced and directed by creative duo Damsell/Jenkins.
Still Good 2013 Spring/Summer Collection

Clement Taverniti — the man behind Paris-based Still Good — always wanted his own brand, even if it meant starting up in a difficult economic climate. After stints at Kitsune, Dries Van Noten and Homecore, Taverniti is now into his second year with a line he describes mixing “urban culture with luxury culture.” Still Good’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection continues Taverniti’s vision of combining designer fashion with streetwear, while also looking to artist Barnett Newman for inspiration. Newman’s use of color fields is referenced in this season’s range of geometric prints, mixed-fabric shirts and color-blocked jackets, each one made in Europe from Italian fabrics. Taverniti’s own touch, meanwhile, is apparent in garments like the Double Jacket Sweat, with its sophisticated design and relaxed, French terry construction, and the contrast-lined Ecume pants — pieces that showcase refined style and streetwear details in equal measure.
