Two years after its first major introduction of the Nike Free line to the Greater China region, Nike will be following up with even more products this year. During yesterday’s Nike Free 2013 Media Summit for Greater China in Beijing, Nike unveiled a whole slew of upcoming releases, from Nike Free Inneva Woven, Nike Free 5.0+ EXT, Nike Free Run+ 2 Woven, to Nike Free 4.0 V2 and Nike Free Trainer 5.0. In fact, with such a dizzying array of collection on the track & field mock-up created by Studio At Large, Nike asked Robert Dolan, Nike Director for Footwear Design at Nike Running, to give attendees a synopsis on the Nike Free concept. Also in attendance were Wei Yongli, China’s top female sprinter, and Taiwanese model and author GinOy, to share their experiences wearing the Nike Free. To demonstrate the design’s effectiveness in training, Nike asked the holder of eight World Championships titles and winner of four Olympic Gold Medals, US track and field star Allyson Michelle Felix, for her verdict on the expansive Nike Free collection as a whole.
