With its early inspirations coming from New York’s graffiti culture of the 70s and 80s, Zoo York pays tribute to the metropolis that shaped its 20-year history in fashion with a new video – KING OF NEW YORK. Scored to music from Gotham’s own Nas, Inspectah Deck, Prodigy, and more, the above video piece stars skaters Chaz Ortiz, Dave Willis, Kevin Tierney, Travis Glover, Ron Deily, and Brandon Westgate thrashing around the concrete playground of New York. Directed by Ben Oleynik, KING OF NEW YORK also features a special guest appearance from Philly legend Ricky Oyola.
Last night, without warning, Beyoncé dropped an album. The Internet lost it’s collective mind (obviously) and won’t stop gushing about it. The self-titled offering contains 17 tracks, each with it’s own music video, which is impressive in that she shot 17 music videos, but also that she got everyone involved in said videos to keep their mouths shut. I guess if Queen B says “keep your mouth shut”, you keep your mouth shut. The one we’re most interested in is titled “Mine”, (featuring Drake), because it’s stunning. Even if it’s also a little creepy.
This video covers a lot of ground. There’s Beyoncé’s commanding presence in front of a simple black backdrop, but there’s also people making out with shirts over their faces, a beach dance sequence that reminds us of the Jackie Treehorn party scene from The Big Lebowski, and even a girl fully covered in some kind of grey clay/paint solution who looks a little bit like Tyler The Creator.
We’re not mad at the song, either. Drake’s influence is evident in the track’s style, it almost sounds like it could’ve been a bonus track from Nothing Was The Same. You can pick up the track or the whole album from iTunes.
Well done B. Well done.

The plot takes an unexpected turn, however, when Cage fell into a time-loop and forced to re-live his death once again. But his demise might also be the best opportunity for mankind to defeat this new adversary. Directed by Doug Liman, who is best known for The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Jumper, with Tom Cruise as Cage and Emily Blunt as Vrataski, Edge of Tomorrow will be in theaters on June 6, 2014.

One of the most hyped of shoes to drop this year is just over a week from its official release, the Gamma Blue Air Jordan 11.
The first time Gamma Blue has touched the Jordan 11, which seems to be the theme for Jordan Brand this Winter (Jordan 12′s also releasing in the same colorway).
For the shoes, which have a predominate black uppers (mesh and patent leather), small hints of gamma blue and varsity maize make it’s way giving them some pop. Added in is the blue translucent sole which actually doesn’t look bad on this particular colorway.
If you’re wondering how are the quality is on the Gamma Blue 11′s? Sorry to burst your bubble but more than likely you will be disappointed. The materials used are fine, traditional patent leather and mesh that are comparable to the Bred 11 that released last year (Concord and Space Jam seemed to have higher quality materials). What Nike/Jordan Brand failed on was the construction. Glue stains can be seen on the uppers. In fact, small separation can be seen where the sole and midsole meets and where the patent leather comes into the midsole.
Releasing December 21st 2013. This is a general release so a lot of stores will have pairs and you can expect restocks to happen in the near future.

Last season, the dispatches emanating from the Los Angeles Clippers locker room painted a scene of growing discord between point guard Chris Paul and high-flying forward Blake Griffin. It’s probably a good sign, then, that the feud is now comedic fodder at the hands of Kids Foot Locker, whose latest commercial stars the most recognizable names from the Clippers franchise. The clip sees CP3 taking over Griffin’s adjoining locker to accommodate all the newly purchased Kids Foot Locker gear for Lil’ Chris. Meanwhile, Blake Griffin’s spot is relegated to a new locker room that’s sorely lacking in the luxury accoutrements of most NBA facilities. Check out the video below.
