That’s exactly what fashion designer Jeremy Scott was thinking as today brings a first look at his latest adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0. Inspired by the all-mighty dollar bill, these JS sneakers feature an all-over currency print as well as an off-white midsole and matching lace set.

Not one with a conventional approach to design, Jeremy Scott will add on some “8-bit fun” this coming season with his new adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0 “Pixels”. Identical to the former JS Wings 2.0 with the exception of pixelated wings and adidas‘ three-strip, we can only imagine what the apparel collection will look like once the collection as a whole comes out later on this year.

While we may be just getting used to the warmer temps, Wings + Horns is already looking ahead toward the Fall/Winter 2013 season, continuing on in their own lane; never veering off course, never missing a stylistic beat. This year, the Canadian brand takes inspiration from London’s modernist youth movement of the late 1950′s, where wovens and tartans play in the spotlight alongside rich melange cottons and textured wools. Classic styles receive updated details, but leave the look itself alone, adding water resistancy, increases in breathability, and new colors to the prints, as seen in the colorful nylon fishtail parka, a heavy melton wool bomber, and primaloft insulation stitched into shirting and vests. Fall colorways also take center stage with oxblood, camel, and deep sea creating a cohesiveness throughout, adding even more depth to the sharp looking collection. Action Bronson & Andrew W.K. vs. Wingzup’s Ghost Wings Challenge
While attending SXSW, Queens rapper Action Bronson and multi-faceted artist Andrew W.K. took on the intense Ghost Wings Challenge at Wingzup in Austin. With both artists as notable food connoisseurs, the two stepped up to see exactly how many of Wingzup’s Ghost Wings (made with ghost peppers, long-recognized as the hottest pepper in the world) they could handle. The contestants looked ready for the challenge, but as the spice continued to build, the difficulty started to show. The profuse sweat and tears of Bronson and W.K. alone make this clip worth watching.
