Nike’s Roshe Run and Inneva Woven both made illustrious entrances into the shoe game. But what if they were to cuddle up and make lil babies? The Nike Roshe Run Woven ticks all the DNA boxes with an upper crafted from wide woven ribbons, full-grain leather heels, squishy sock liners and billowing marshmallow soles.
Nike‘s woven technology has been quite popular lately, seen on both new and old models alike, but none of them have looked quite like this. Featuring a multi-colored deep royal blue leather upper, this reissue of the classic ’70′s on-the-court mid-top is a unique approach on the popular Nike Blazer silhouette mixing orange, purple, light blue, and reds in to the design. A debossed Nike logo is fitted into the ankle, subtly blending into the tonal Swoosh and thick laces. An off-white, vulcanized rubber sole underneath finishes the look, providing a nice base of contrast. Set for a February ship-date, you can pre-order these now from select Nike retailers, including the U.K.’s end clothing via their online shop. Read the rest of: Nike Blazer Mid – Multicolor Woven
It’s crazy to think that with the number of Roshe Run releases over the past few months, the sneaker only first dropped back in July 2012. Having only just shown you a preview of the “Blackout” Trail version, take a look at the Woven Pack. Tonal uppers in premium suede and woven mesh make for yet another great take on one of last year’s sneaker successes. We think all-black works best once again, but the turquoise colorway is also doing it for us. Find them online.

Here is another fascinating hybrid design to come from Nike as the sportswear brand makes great use of the woven motif. By taking the Dunk as the canvas, the outcome is quite eye catching with the woven motif applied predominately behind the Swoosh as well as used to reinforce the stitching on the toe box, lace unit and heel. Here is a look at three colorways that will be available from atmos in the near future.
Continuing on their trend of woven construction, Nike presents an interesting take on the classic Dunk silhouette for Spring 2013. The popular woven aesthetic – which has been echoed in the likes of the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka and NSW’s premium iteration of the MayFly – has been applied to the high-top Dunk for a more breathable, deconstructed version of the classic shoe. It would seem that this adjustment is especially apt given the time of its projected release; for those that love high-tops but rue their lack of breathability, the Nike Dunk Woven seems to hush such disquieted murmurs. This edition of the shoe will be available in three colorways at specialty retailers like atmos for the coming season.
The venerable Nike Dunk High receives the most radical makeover yet, taking on a woven suede upper that borrows unique elements from the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka. The Franken-sneaker concept is reinforced with seams that appear crudely stitched together, along with checkerboard woven quarter panels and a deconstructed build that draws direct parallels to the Air Footscape Woven Chukka. A suede Swoosh in a contrasting hue finishes the look. The Nike Dunk Woven is set to release in early 2013 in a trio of colorways.
