It appears that the “Linsanity” Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low that dropped back in April won’t be the only version to hit retailers here in 2012.
Nike Basketball has also prepped a black and orange “Away” playoff version of the kicks. Originally created for Jeremy Lin to wear during the Knicks’ series against the Miami Heat, the shoes never saw the light of day due to Lin being out with an injury. Decked out in black, orange appears on the branding and laces.
While there is no word yet of a release date, stay tuned for more info.

Nike Zoom Rookie LWP “Memphis Blues” PE
May 10th

Staying on the “blue” theme, Nike and Nike Basketball have set wide-reaching goals in the promotion of Penny Hardaway signature sneakers or related designs for the last years. Starting with first with the continuous introduction Air Foamposites, follow by Air Penny V, and more recently the addition of Nike Zoom Rookie LWP. The onslaught continues this year, as seen in the chaos surrounding the release Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” and the purported Zoom Rookie “Galaxy”. Now there is this, the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP “Memphis Blue” PE in a tonal treatment of Royal Blue with anodized accents around crucial portions on the upper. No official release information is available thus far but its more than likely that these will be on top of fans’ wishlists this year. Photos via: MarqueeSole
